Truffle's Town is operated by TRON Technologies LLC ("Truffle's Town", "we", "us"). This policy explains what the Truffle's Town game and the website at trufflestownapp.com collect, why, and who processes it.
1. The short version
Truffle's Town is a single-player game that runs on your device. Your town stays on your device. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no cloud sync, so we do not hold a copy of your town and we cannot see what you have built.
The game has no advertising, no ad identifiers, no analytics or measurement SDKs, no crash-reporting SDKs, and no behavioral trackers. We do not sell data, and there is nothing to sell.
The one thing that leaves your device is an in-app purchase, if you choose to make one, and that is handled by your app store rather than by us. The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
2. What stays on your device (and never leaves)
- Your town: every building, decoration, and villager, and where you put them.
- Your progress and any in-game currency or items.
- Your settings, such as sound and music preferences.
All of it is written to the game's own storage on your device. It is not uploaded, backed up by us, or readable by us. If your device's operating system or app store backs up app data as part of its own device backup, that is a feature of the device or store and is covered by their privacy policies, not this one.
3. What we collect and send off the device
Very little, and only when you make a purchase.
| What | Where it goes | Why | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| Purchase details (the item, the price, the store's transaction identifier) | Your app store, such as Google Play | To take payment and unlock what you bought | Only when you make an in-app purchase |
| Whatever you choose to write to us | Our support email inbox | To answer you | Only if you email support |
We never see or store your payment card number. The app store handles the card and tells the game only whether the purchase succeeded.
The game does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise location, and it does not read any of them.
4. Who processes your data (third parties)
- Your app store (Google Play, and the App Store when the game reaches iOS) processes in-app purchases and handles the payment. Their own privacy policy covers that transaction.
- Google Fonts serves the two typefaces used on trufflestownapp.com. Like any web request, that means Google receives the IP address of the browser asking for the font. This applies to the website only; the game does not use it.
- Our email provider receives whatever you send us if you email support, so that we can read and reply to it.
That is the complete list. There is no advertising network, no attribution partner, no analytics vendor, and no data broker involved in Truffle's Town.
5. The website (trufflestownapp.com)
The website is a plain set of pages describing the game. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and has no tracking pixels or third-party scripts other than the font request described above. Your web host will keep ordinary server logs, which typically include IP addresses, in the normal course of serving a website.
The website links out to social profiles and to our company site. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's site, under their privacy policy.
6. Payment and purchase records
If you make an in-app purchase, your app store keeps the record of that transaction and makes it available to us in aggregate and, for support purposes, by order number. We keep only what we need to answer a support question or meet a tax or accounting obligation. We do not receive or keep payment card data.
7. Retention and deletion
Because your town lives on your device, deleting the game deletes your data. There is no account for us to close and nothing for us to erase on our side.
If you have emailed support, we keep that correspondence for as long as we need it to help you and to keep a record of the issue, then delete it. Purchase records are kept where a tax or financial rule requires it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to get a copy of it, or to have it deleted. For Truffle's Town the honest answer is usually that we hold nothing beyond a support email if you sent one. Write to support@trufflestownapp.com and we will answer.
9. Children and families
Truffle's Town is made for families, and we expect children to play it. We have built it so that it does not collect personal information from anyone, children included. There are no accounts, no profiles, no chat, no user-generated content, no social features, no advertising, and no third-party trackers, so there is nothing for a child to disclose and nobody to disclose it to.
In-app purchases are the one thing that costs money, and they run through the app store's own payment flow. We recommend that a parent or guardian turns on purchase authentication or parental controls on the device before handing it to a child.
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe we have somehow received personal information from your child, email support@trufflestownapp.com and we will delete it.
10. How the art is made
Some of the artwork in Truffle's Town is produced with an AI-assisted pipeline before the game ships. This happens on our side, during development. The game does not generate images on your device, does not send anything you do to an AI service, and does not use your play as training data.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the game changes. When we do we will update the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be noticed in the game or on trufflestownapp.com.
